DJ SOUNDWAVE
Somewhere in 2003 Soundwave started spinning, after trying it out on some decks of a friend at an afterparty.
After some time a friend asked him to play at an illegal party and it turned out to be a great move, as the crowd went nuts on his set.
From here on he started getting more bookings, till one party in The Hague he was discovered by the TTS crew, and they asked him to become a resident at their famous P.O.R.N. and Industrial Power parties.
Nowadays Soundwave has already played capacity crowds and hit several dutch national radio stations, with broadcasts on the famous thunderdome radio station, and on hardcorepower.nl
He has also played abroad, his most recent foreign booking being the Biomechanik party in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Soundwave has also turned his attention to producing music, and has started a record label to further the terror and frenchcore sound in holland.
DJ AKIRA
Akira began as an industrial hardcore techno, terror,speedcore DJ in the mid 1990s, making a name for himself as the " de race chinees " in 1998 during the sold out edition of Mysteryland Lingebos edition.
He has played at clubs as Hemkade (NL), Clubnumberone (IT) ,Pont Aeri (ESP) ,Bunker (DE), Void (UK), as well as raves like Thunderdome, Masters of Hardcore, P.O.R.N, Nightmare in Rotterdam, Defcon, Dominator, Project Hardcore, Hardcore4life, Decibel, In Qontrol, Q-base, Digital Overdose, Raving Nightmare.He now spearheads two record labels, Hong Kong Violence and HKVZ.
His first singles were released in 1998, all made with the legendary 8 bit hardcore machine aka Amiga 600. He became good friends with Richard, a.k.a. Drokz, whom he met during a interview at the Tunnel of Terror (Mysterland 1997). Drokz suggested him to make tracks for his label Cunt records, Akira did so, and he made the diss song " Trancetrutje " in 2000, which was a huge success shortly after its release.
Nowadays Akira is back on track so to speak, with some savage new hardcore techno with a lot of crossover tendencies, from uk hardcore to schranz to hard techno to breakcore to frenchcore to extreme speedcore.
Together with his bollox DJ sets this really makes him the leader DJ of hardest hardcore techno in all forms.
THE DESTROYER
The Destroyer, the most violent demon in the Hardcore scene! His name is Pierpaolo Salamone, was born during the 1980 exactly in the 5th day of January in Enna (Italy).
When he was 13 years old, this young prodigy, started with his own first productions realized with his Commodore Amiga, and still now he continue using it to keep alive the old 8-bit sound! The D-Boy black Label felt the right vibe coming out from the Destroyer's tracks, and follow the first release for this Label entitled "Break your Speaker e.p." in which you can find violent tracks that runs at 200BPM, others with screaming Sicilian samples. After this record, the Destroyer goes on evolving his skills and his knowledge, without yield to compromise, following his "Old Style" kind of Hardcore. On the D-Boy labels he signes others big successes like: "My Brain is Sick", "Khorona Nooo!!!!"," The Korrosive adventure","You're like a toasted dork e.p.", "Mass of Shit e.p.", " The Hardcore Healing", " Total Hate e.p." and "Neighbourhood". These records show to you everything you need to know about the Destroyer's exclusive style: a mix of distorted and violent sounds and dark riffs. Most of those vocal samples that u can hear in his tracks are made usually by the Destroyer himself.
These tracks are played during the biggest Hardcore events all over the world and they are a big part of the Italian Hardcore History. He was also the leader of the Head Fuck records with the following records realized for this label "The Crusher's trash","Sicilian Antibitch e.p.", " The Destroyer's rmx collection","The return e.p." and "Prepare Yourself e.p.". The Destroyer's style is appreciated not only in italy, so you can find other records released in different labels like "Cunt Records" , "Epileptik" , "Terror Noize Industry" and many more...
Pierpaolo is certainly the unquestionable leader of the Italian Speedcore, and these words are confirmed with his devastating Live Act, that he brings all over the world!
BONEHEAD
Bonehead started rolling in the “core” business by his brother (Prince ov Darkness) when he was still young at age. He started to buy his first records at the age of 12 at the Mid Town record shop in Den Haag and his collection grew more and more, and soon some turntable decks and a mixer showed up so he could start to practise his beatmixing with the records he bought.
Somewhere in the year 2k bonehead finally decided to do something about the desire that was bothering him for a long time, and he decided to finally start producing. This feeling, to make music, totally satisfied his desire to do so. After he started looking around for software to start with, he ended up with a simple tracker program called: “Modplug Tracker”, and it was with this piece of software that he learned the very basics of four to the floor patterns, sample cutting, percusions etcetera etcetera.
After a while some program switches were made, from programs like: Skale tracker, Rebirth, Reason to programs like : Renoise, Logic, Cubase SX and finally… CUBASE 5!!!!
Between all these program switches alot happened; Bonehead made his first official release on “Special Forces records” with Renoise in 2003 which triggered some more releases on labels like: Terrornoize Industry, Kopfkrank records, Masters of Speedcore, Rotterdam Records, This is Terror, Militia, Fix Party, Hellbound records, Cerebral Destruction, Dual Kore, Speedcore Records, Narkotik Records, Brutal Rage and ROEST Records.
Meanwhile he also graduaded as an Sound Engineer and as a DJ his career soared upwards that led him play on many (big) parties in and outside Holland.
By now Bonehead played at parties like: Nightmare Outdoor, Dominator, Hardcore 4 Life, P.O.R.N., Scumworld, Beter Kom je Niet, Ik Ben je Bitch Niet, Megarave, Partyraiser: One Man/Half Machine, I Hate Trance, Speedrazor, and Noisekick’s verouderingsproces. Bonehead Bonehead has been booked in many different countries such as: Russia, Italy, France, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Poland, England and Scotland.
Next to his DJ performance, he also performs on stage with his live act using his macbook, midi-controller, triggerpad and mask.
Bonehead doesn’t prefer one before another, but as a DJ he’s more focussed on the task at hand, where as a live act Bonehead likes to get wild and crazy while he’s playin and tries to interact with the crowd as much as he can.
